Matt Dillon is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the esports and sports industries. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at West Coast Cure since May 2020, Matt oversees licensing, compliance, and regulatory efforts while managing governmental relations. Prior roles include Legal Counsel at Ghost Gaming, where Matt built a successful esports organization generating over $4 million in annual revenue, and Founding Partner and General Counsel at Agency for Professional eSports | APE, negotiating agreements with major companies like Intel and Twitch. Matt also established an esports law practice as a Senior Associate at Gatzke Dillon & Ballance LLP and held various positions with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Boston Red Sox. Matt holds a Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School and Southwestern Law School and a BA in Geography/Environmental Studies from UCLA.
