Hendrik Davel is a seasoned accounting professional with significant leadership experience across various companies. Currently serving as the VP Corporate Controller at West Coast Cure since February 2024, Hendrik previously held the position of Chief Accounting Officer at Odeko and spent over six years at Weedmaps as VP Corporate Controller and Controller. Hendrik's earlier roles include Controller at Local Corporation and Consultant during a transitional period, along with senior positions at BDO USA, LLP and Deloitte. An expert in financial auditing and accounting standards, Hendrik's foundational training began with an education in Accounting and Finance at the University of Pretoria, followed by obtaining the South African Chartered Accountant designation from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
