Sara J. Berman is a distinguished legal educator and author currently serving as a Professor at USC Gould School of Law since July 2023. With extensive experience in legal education and bar preparation, Berman has authored multiple influential titles for West Academic, Nolo, and the American Bar Association, including the "Bar Exam Success" series and "The Criminal Law Handbook." Previously, Berman has held notable positions such as Professor and Assistant Dean at Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, Director of Academic Success & Bar Success at AccessLex Institute, and Director of Critical Skills and Academic Success at Nova Southeastern University. Berman co-founded PASS Bar Review and has collaborated on various academic support initiatives throughout the legal education landscape. Berman earned a JD from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a BA in Political Science and French Literature from UC Santa Barbara.
