Roald Schel serves as the Strategisch informatiemanager/CIO at Werkorganisatie Druten Wijchen since September 2019, overseeing information management for the merged municipalities of Druten and Wijchen. Previously, Roald held various advisory roles, including Interim CISO for BHBD gemeenten, where responsibilities included managing projects related to information security and data management. With experience as a consultant for multiple municipalities, Roald specialized in conducting impact analyses to support the implementation of the Omgevingswet and improve ICT capabilities. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Governance, complemented by a recent program at the Academy for Information & Management.
