Lara R Nyman has a diverse work experience in scientific and research roles in the food and beverage industry. Lara R is currently serving as the Chief Scientific Officer at Weo since April 2022. Prior to this, Lara worked at PepsiCo as a Senior Principal Scientist from May 2021 to May 2022. Lara R also held the position of R&D Manager at Gatorade Sports Science Institute from January 2013 to May 2021. Lara started their career at PepsiCo as an Associate Principal Scientist from 2010 to 2012.

Lara R Nyman has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Boston University. Lara R also holds a Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from Southern Connecticut State University. Furthermore, they have completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Molecular and Cellular Physiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Additionally, Lara R Nyman has undertaken a Post-doctoral fellowship in the field of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Residency Program at Vanderbilt University.
