Head Of Business Development - Large Accounts at Wenea

Felipe Díaz has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Felipe is currently the Head of Business Development - Large Accounts at Wenea, starting in November 2023. Prior to this, Felipe held the position of Head of B2B at Wenea from October 2021 to November 2023.

Before joining Wenea, Felipe worked at Gamma Solutions & Energy as an International Business Development Manager from March 2015 to September 2021. In this role, they were responsible for business development in international solar projects, as well as solar PV greenfield projects development in Spain. Felipe also prepared business plans, defined sales targets, and implemented international company strategies.

From January 2011 to March 2015, Felipe worked as a Market Consultant at Pöyry Management Consulting. Felipe'sresponsibilities included project management of renewable energy projects, market advisory in the Spanish electricity sector, and valuation and risk assessment of Iberian renewable assets.

Prior to that, Felipe served as an Engineering Project Coordinator at Heymo Ingenieria S.A. from October 2007 to January 2011. In this role, they were involved in the EPC of renewable and industrial plants, including biomass, Concentrated Solar Power (CSP), and Combine-Cycle Gas Turbines (CCGTs). Felipe also provided project planning and management support to clients, partners, and contractors.

Felipe started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Enerpal in January 2007. Felipe'sresponsibilities included electrical and mechanical calculations for solar PV projects, preparation of permits and licenses for PV plant commissioning, and calculation of solar thermal installations for water heating consumption in public buildings.

Additionally, Felipe gained experience as an Engineer (scholarship practice) at CG Power Systems Belgium from July 2006 to December 2006. In this role, they supported the marketing and purchasing departments in report elaboration for mobile substation projects, delineated drawings, and improved computer spreadsheets.

Felipe Díaz has a diverse education history. Between the years of 2012 and 2014, they attended Udima Universidad a Distancia de Madrid, where they completed a degree in Industrial Management Engineering. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2012, they pursued a Master's degree in Renewable Energy Development and Engineering at Universidad CEU San Pablo. Felipe's educational journey began at Universidad de Extremadura, where they obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2000 to 2005.
