Derek Johns has built a robust career in property management and surveying, with extensive experience in both the public sector and emergency services. From December 2005 until retirement, Derek served as the National Estates Manager at Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust. Prior to this role, Derek held the position of Property & Procurement Manager at Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service from August 1993 to December 2005, and worked as a Senior Building Surveyor for Cheshire County Council from August 1990 to August 1993. Derek's academic foundation in building surveying was established with a BSc degree from the University of Central Lancashire, completed in 1993.
