Derek Russell-Kraft serves as General Counsel and Head of Legal at Wellthy since November 2021. Prior to this role, Derek held the position of Senior Counsel - International at Flatiron Health from July 2019 to November 2021, and Chief Legal Officer at Owkin from February 2018 to July 2019. Early in their career, Derek worked as a US Associate focused on Capital Markets and Structured Finance at Linklaters, LLP from September 2012 to January 2018, and as a Litigation Support Analyst at Debevoise & Plimpton from July 2007 to March 2009. Additionally, Derek gained experience as a House Manager for University of Chicago Presents from August 2004 to May 2005. Derek's educational background includes a JD from Columbia Law School, an M2 in Droit Economique from Sciences Po, an A.B. in Political Science from the University of Chicago, a Diplome International from Sciences Po, and a high school diploma from La Jolla Country Day School.
