Sarah Mattern has a diverse work experience in the field of psychology and social work. Sarah began their career in 2007 as a Foster Care Social Worker at Children's Choice, Inc., where they worked until 2009. In 2009, they joined WellSpan Philhaven, initially as the Director of CADD Outpatient Services. Since 2018, Sarah has served as the Director of Operations at WellSpan Philhaven.

Sarah Mattern LCSW, BCBA, MBA has a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree from Messiah University, obtained between 2002 and 2006. Sarah then pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with a focus on Clinical Social Work at the University of Maryland Baltimore from 2006 to 2007. In 2009 to 2010, they obtained an ABA Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology. Lastly, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Elizabethtown College from 2015 to 2017.
