Sajid Ahmed is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leading engineering and technology transformation across major financial institutions. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Head of Technology for Wells Fargo in India and the Philippines since September 2018, Sajid has driven advancements in Consumer Lending, Digital, Payments, Wholesale Banking, and Platform Engineering. Prior to this role, Sajid held significant positions at Goldman Sachs, including Managing Director and Head of Technology & Platform Engineering for Asia Pacific, where responsibilities included global platform engineering and performance engineering teams. Additionally, experience at Goldman Sachs encompassed managing technology infrastructure and operations globally. Sajid’s career began at Syntel Ltd and DDE ÂÜÀòÂÒÂ× Systems Ltd, focusing on IT infrastructure and application development. Sajid holds a Master's degree in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Karnatak University.
