Ja D. is a highly skilled infrastructure and Hadoop engineer with extensive experience in managing big data solutions. Currently serving as Lead Infrastructure Engineer at R since August 2021, Ja D. successfully deployed a 164 node Hadoop infrastructure capable of handling 120TB of data and implemented an encryption solution for 3-5 PB of data, ensuring complete integrity and confidentiality. Previously, as a Hadoop System Engineer at Amazon Web Services from July 2019 to September 2021, Ja D. achieved a 40% reduction in infrastructure costs for over 50 customers and facilitated migrations for 20 customers that expanded AWS's customer base. Ja D. also improved operational efficiency as a System Engineer at WellCare Health Plans and developed essential data management skills as a Graduate Assistant at Radford University.
