Kya Nichols, BSPH, currently serves as a Home Visitor/FSP at Wellnest, providing support to caregivers and newborns until the child's fifth birthday, following the Healthy Families America model. As a Birth Doula since September 2022, Kya offers essential support during childbirth. Previously, Kya held the position of Titan Ambassador at California State University, Fullerton, from June 2019 to October 2022, where responsibilities included outreach, recruitment, and leading campus tours for prospective students. Kya's experience as a Midwifery Intern at South Coast Midwifery involved assisting midwives and handling administrative tasks related to prenatal care and birth plans. Additionally, Kya completed a Cope Health Scholar program at St. Joseph Hospital, gaining exposure in various medical departments. Kya holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from California State University, Fullerton.
