Paul Davis is an experienced data manager currently employed at the Wellcome Sanger Institute since June 2022, after a long tenure at WormBase where the role of Senior Curator was held from March 2003 to June 2022. Davis also served as a Senior Technical Officer at EBI from June 2011 to May 2022, focusing on the production and development of data integration and export pipelines. Earlier experience includes working as a Senior Computer Biologist at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute from October 1998 to May 2011, contributing to gene curation, data analysis, and extraction for the WormBase team, along with roles as a Genome Analyst. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Molecular & Cellular Biology from the University of Bath, completed between 1996 and 1998, alongside studies at Hanley Castle High from 1989 to 1995.
