Melis Abacioglu is the Founder and CEO of Wellbees, a corporate wellbeing platform established in 2013, focused on promoting healthy habits within organizations through a B2B data platform and AI assistance. Melis also co-founded Kızlar Sahada, an initiative aimed at empowering women in sports, and served as a Founding Partner at SWEATersApp, a digital platform for collaborative sports experiences. Prior experience includes co-founding Hareket Candır!, a charity sports club in Istanbul with over 7,500 members, and contributing to the development of disabled performance athletes as part of the Spinal Cord Paralytics Association of Turkey. Earlier career roles encompassed business development in various organizations, including Dunyagoz and Transmed Hair and Cosmetic Surgery Clinic. Melis completed a BA in Mathematics with a Minor in Art History at Columbia University and holds an Abitur Diploma from Deutsche Schule Istanbul.
