Courtney DeMane, MS, CHES has been working in the professional field since 2016. Her first role was as a Brand Ambassador for Banana Republic in 2016. Courtney then worked as a Group Exercise Instructor for Boar's Head Resort in the same year. In 2017, they took on a Crew Member role at Roots Natural Kitchen. In 2019, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at American University. In 2020, they were a Partnership Programs Coordinator at Foublie and a Children's Environmental Health Intern at the Children's Environmental Health Network. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Customer Success Manager at Wellable.

Courtney DeMane, MS, CHES has an educational background that includes a Master of Science in Health Promotion Management from American University, obtained in 2020, and a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Virginia, obtained in 2018. In addition to their educational background, Courtney has obtained several certifications, including Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. in 2020, Group Exercise Instruction from the Athletics and Fitness Association of America - AFAA in 2015, and a CITI Human Research Certificate from the CITI Program.
