Newton Otieno is a skilled design engineer with extensive experience in civil, structural, and mechanical engineering. Currently employed at Weld-Con Engineering and Construction since June 2023, Newton has successfully managed the design and documentation for a 10,000 cubic meter AGO storage tank project. Prior roles include CNC Machinist and Quality Controller at Quality Inspectors Limited, where Newton performed NDT inspections for drilling tools, and Draughtsman at Hyoung & Co (EA) Limited, contributing to bid preparations. Newton's background also encompasses production and maintenance engineering at Magnum Engineering & General Contractors Ltd., overseeing quality processes and improving manufacturing specifications, as well as serving as a production supervisor at Richfield Engineering Limited, where product design and fabrication were key responsibilities. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Technical University of Kenya, completed in December 2019.
