Nazanin Ash is the CEO of Welcome.US, a position held since October 2021. Prior to this role, Nazanin served as the Vice President for Global Policy and Advocacy at the International Rescue Committee from March 2015 to October 2021. Additional experience includes a tenure as a Visiting Policy Fellow at the Center for Global Development and significant roles at the U.S. Department of State, including Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs and a member of the Policy Planning Staff. Nazanin's earlier career also included a position as Chief of Staff for USAID and the Office of U.S. Foreign Assistance. Nazanin Ash holds a Master's Degree in Political and Economic Development from Harvard Kennedy School and is an alumna of Bryn Mawr College.
