Melissa Luyster is an accomplished R&D Product Developer currently working at Lindt & Sprüngli (USA) Inc. since February 2024. Previously, Luyster served as a Product Development Scientist at Welch's where expertise included leading product development projects and conducting experimental design. Experience also encompasses a role as RD&A Scientist for beverages at Kerry, focusing on product improvement and commercialization. Earlier positions include Product Developer at The Boston Beer Company, where Luyster developed innovative alcoholic beverages, and a Research Flavorist Assistant at International Flavors & Fragrances, contributing to flavor development for various food categories. Education includes a Bachelor’s of Science in Food Science from Penn State University and ongoing studies at AgroParisTech.
