Christian Medellin is an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager in the commodities sector, currently employed at Welch's since July 2021. Prior to this role, Christian served as a Senior Buyer at Hometown Food Company from August 2019 to June 2021 and held positions as a Purchasing Analyst at Avlon and Gold Standard Baking, Inc. from April 2017 to April 2017 and September 2015 to April 2017, respectively. Beginning a career as a Purchasing Assistant at Sokol and Company from September 2011 to September 2015, Christian has developed expertise in analyzing buyer action reports, managing orders and freight tracking, sourcing materials and vendors, and facilitating new product development.
