Katherine Bankert has a diverse work experience history. Katherine is currently working as an IT&S Project Manager at WelbeHealth since May 2022. Before that, they worked at CN from January 2021, first as a Solution Architect, where they developed and supported implementation of company-wide technical solutions, evaluated operational processes, and collaborated with designers, developers, and engineers. Katherine then transitioned into a role as a Research and Development Specialist from November 2020 to January 2021.

Prior to CN, Katherine worked at Wabtec Corporation from April 2017 to November 2020. Katherine started as a Technical Project Manager, where they oversaw multi-million dollar budgets, tracked expenses and timelines, and communicated with key stakeholders. Later, they became a PTC Data Analyst, assessing data and issues, preparing forecasts, and organizing data for evaluation of business and market trends.

Earlier in their career, Katherine worked at the University of Iowa as a Lab Associate from November 2012 to February 2015. Here, they analyzed experimental data, implemented lab procedures, and handled administrative tasks for laboratory staff. Katherine also worked as a Laboratory Technician at Massachusetts General Hospital from April 2010 to May 2012, where they conducted various tasks related to tracking T cell movement, preparation of humanized mice, and examining the effects of CSXR3 signaling on T cell function.

Katherine Bankert pursued their undergraduate studies from 2005 to 2009 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Katherine earned a Bachelor of Science degree (BS) in Brain and Cognitive Sciences during this time.
