Heikki Loukusa has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Heikki started their career in 2004 as an HVAC-engineer at ISS Proko Oy, where they worked until 2007. Following this, they worked as an Educator at Kemi-Tornion koulutuskuntayhtymä Lappia from 2007 to 2010. Heikki then joined Oulun Aikuiskoulutuskeskus Oy as an Educator, where they worked for four years until 2014.

In 2014, Heikki Loukusa transitioned to the role of Project Manager at Rakennuttajatoimisto Promen Oy, where they still work. Most recently, in 2022, Heikki joined Welado as a Project Manager.

Heikki Loukusa obtained a Bachelor's degree in HVAC-engineering from Oulu University of Applied Sciences in the period of 2000-2004. Following this, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued Teacher Education at the same institution, earning 60 educational points. In 2011-2012, Heikki studied Energiatehokas rakennussuunnittelu ammatilliset erikoistumisopinnot, amounting to 30 credits. Heikki later completed a Master's degree in Construction Engineering from Oulu University of Applied Sciences, graduating in 2017.
