Mike Welling is a seasoned entrepreneur and industry leader with extensive experience in geospatial intelligence and outdoor recreation. As the CEO and Founder of Hemisphere Digital since February 2021, Mike has spearheaded the development of an innovative platform for accessing intelligent tourism data in collaboration with the Australian Government. Concurrently, Mike serves as the CEO and Founder of WEJUGO, emphasizing the value of community participation in protecting wilderness areas. Additionally, in a special advisory role at Leave No Trace Australia, Mike advocates for responsible outdoor travel through education and community engagement. Past roles include leadership positions at Zetaris, Ownwayout, and Cumulus Applications, where Mike focused on data analytics, marketing, and business development. Mike holds a Master's degree in Biology from Universidade Federal da Paraíba and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Southampton.
