Linlin Chen Reid has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Linlin Chen is currently the Director of Prospect Management and Research at the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Associate Director of Prospect Management and Research at the same organization from January 2020 to September 2022.
Before joining the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science, Linlin worked at Weill Cornell Medicine as a Research Manager in Prospect Management from March 2018 to December 2019.
From 2013 to 2018, Linlin was a Senior Research Analyst in Global Development at New York University. During this time, they also held positions as a Prospect Researcher at the Harlem Children's Zone and as a Prospect Research Analyst at the University of Chicago from 2008 to 2011.
In addition to their work in research and development, Linlin has experience in client liaison at Sotheby's in 2011. Linlin Chen began their career as a Translator and Project Manager in the Foreign Affairs Office at Nanjing Arts Institute from 2002 to 2006.
Linlin Chen Reid's education history begins in 1989 when they attended No. 5 Middle School in Nanjing until 1992. Following that, they attended Nanjing Ninghai High School from 1992 to 1995, completing their high school education. Linlin then went on to pursue a Master of Fine Art degree at Nanjing Arts Institute, studying from 1995 to 2002. After a break, they continued their education at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Arts Administration & Policy from 2006 to 2008.
