Stephanie Childs is a seasoned apparel and costume designer with extensive experience in the fashion industry. Currently serving as a Senior Apparel / Costume Designer at Weissman since January 2022, Stephanie previously worked at JCPenney from February 2016 to March 2022, specializing in childrenā€™s outerwear, swimwear, sleepwear, and accessories. Prior positions include apparel designer roles at Stitch Fix and BIOWORLD MERCHANDISING, focusing on juniors' activewear and technical designs. Additional experience encompasses design and technical roles at Legacy Design Group and assistant design work for leather accessories at DC International. Early in the career, Stephanie gained valuable skills in sales and customer relations at Frank Ziebell and honed artistic abilities as a cake artist at Candy Haven. Stephanie holds a BFA in Fashion Design from the University of North Texas, completed between 2006 and 2009.
