Gerri M. Kaye MS, APN-CNS, CCRN has been a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Critical Care at Weiss Memorial Hospital since October 1997, focusing on nursing education and competency assessment across various specialty areas. Prior to this role, Gerri served at Northwestern Memorial Hospital from June 1979 to October 1997, where responsibilities included Staff Registered Nurse and leadership positions in clinical management across multiple units. Gerri also contributed to academia as a Nursing Instructor at St. Xavier University from January 1994 to January 1997. Education is extensive, with a Master of Science in Nursing from St. Xavier University, a BSN from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Harper College. Additionally, Gerri is a Nurse Planner recognized as a contact hour provider through the Ohio Nurse's Association.
