Kai Zhang is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in leveraged finance, currently serving as Counsel at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP since April 2021. Prior to this role, Kai Zhang spent eight years at Allen & Overy LLP, progressing from Trainee Solicitor to Senior Associate in the Leveraged Finance Group. Kai Zhang also gained valuable experience through a secondment at Hg and a vacation scheme at Allen & Overy LLP. An educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from UCL and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Betriebswirtschaftslehre from the University of Cologne.
