Frida de Sigley has worked in a variety of roles in the refugee and family integration sector since 2014. Frida began their career at the British Red Cross, where they served as a Refugee and Family Integration Manager, Casework Coordinator for Refugee Psychosocial Support, and Casework Coordinator for Refugee Family Reunion & Integration. In 2019, they joined the Scottish Refugee Council as a Refugee Integration Services Manager. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as a Tier 2 Machine Learning Support Engineer at Weights & Biases.
Frida de Sigley has an extensive education history. Frida began their studies in 2007 at The Glasgow School of Art, where they obtained a BA (Hons.) in Fine Art Photography in 2011. In 2012, they obtained a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification from The TEFL Org. In 2014-2015, they attended the University of Glasgow for a field of study in Art Psychotherpy. In 2018, they attended Kinharvie for Facilitation Skills. In 2020-2021, they attended the University of Stirling for a Master of Science (MSc) in Artificial Intelligence, and The Data Lab Academy for a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) for AWS Technical Essentials in 2022, edX for Data Ethics, AI and Responsible Innovation in 2021, and OISC: Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner for Immigration Adviser (Level 1) in 2019.
