Adele Shortman is a seasoned legal professional with extensive expertise in service delivery, client engagement, and relationship management, particularly within the retail and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Partner/Client Relationship Manager at Weightmans since September 2019, Adele manages complex employee relations cases and provides pragmatic legal advice for optimal client outcomes. Previously, as a Senior Employee Relations Adviser at EEF from February 2001 to September 2019, Adele supported HR Managers and Senior Directors in performance improvement and legal training. Adele's legal career began as a Solicitor at Weightmans from 1996 to 2001, focusing on defendant litigation in employment law for clients in the leisure sector. Adele holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Wolverhampton and a Legal Practice Course degree in Employment from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
