Florentine Hilty-Vancura, PhD, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and development, currently serving as the Head of Research & Development at Weidmann Fiber Technology since May 2023. Prior roles include Innovation Project Manager and Senior Scientist at Omya, where significant contributions involved the launch of consumer goods and management of ISO-certified laboratories. Previous positions also encompass volunteering as a Shift Leader at Loaves & Fishes Community Services, serving as a Senior Scientist and Lecturer in Nutrition at ETH Zurich, and completing post-doctoral work focused on nutrition and drug development. Florentine holds a PhD from ETH Zurich and completed a Management Acceleration Programme at INSEAD, further strengthening expertise in business administration and innovation in the field of nutrition and food science.
