Yuan Yuan serves as Vice President at Weibo Corporation since July 2019 and concurrently holds the position of CEO at ankerbox (街电) since May 2017. Previously, Yuan held the title of President of Taobao Movie at Alibaba Pictures Group Limited from April 2015 to May 2017, where the founding of Tao Tickets led to its recognition as a leader in online ticketing, achieving a valuation of over 2 billion USD after a Series A funding round in March 2016. Earlier experience includes a role as Deputy General Manager of the Movie Business Unit at 支付宝 from January 2011 to December 2015, overseeing product development, user experience design, and engineering teams, as well as leading business initiatives and operations for Alipay Wallet.
