Kasper Kirkeby is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in leadership and development roles. Currently, as the Team Lead Mechanical Engineer at Weibel Scientific since May 2023, Kasper serves as a subsystem architect for tracking radar antennas and oversees a team. Prior to this, Kasper was the Lead Mechanical Engineer in R&D at FOSS from November 2018 to May 2023, focusing on new hardware solutions in X-ray analytics. Kasper held the position of Design Engineer 2 Stroke Small Bore at MAN Diesel & Turbo from August 2015 to October 2018, where responsibilities included the development of SCR/EGR systems for engines and design oversight for auxiliary components. Earlier career experience includes a role as Design Engineer at Burmeister & Wain Energy A/S from September 2009 to July 2015, concentrating on the design and construction of steel components. Kasper holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, earned in 2009.
