Dean W. has a wealth of experience in the travel industry. Dean started their career as an Air Operations Manager at Bakers Dolphin, where they managed the reservations and ticketing department and negotiated preferred airline contracts. Dean then moved on to Royal Brunei Airlines, where they worked as a Sales Executive and Sales Manager, building relationships with retail travel agents, wholesalers, and corporate clients.
Afterward, Dean joined Air Tickets - Concorde Smartfares as the Online Development Manager, responsible for project management, online analytics, optimization, and affiliate program management. Dean then joined Cendant TDS - Octopus.com, HotelClub & RatestoGo as a Market Development Manager and later as a Business Development Manager. In these roles, they rolled out booking platforms, developed distribution deals, and managed major distribution partnerships.
Dean also served as the Head of Marketing & Product Australia at ZUJI, where they led marketing efforts for ZUJI.com.au and Travelocity APAC. Dean later joined Coleman Research as an Executive Forum Member and Consultant. Most recently, they worked at Wego.com, initially as the CMO & VP Airline Relations and later as the Chief Flights Officer. In these roles, Dean was responsible for developing marketing strategies, increasing brand presence, and leading teams to expand the global footprint of the company.
Throughout their career, Dean has demonstrated expertise in marketing, business development, sales, and operations in the travel industry.
Dean W. attended The Open University from 1993 to 1996, earning a BSc Open Degree. During this time, their studies focused on Introduction to health sciences and Understanding health.
