Melat Tesfaye is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in the banking and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Wegagen Bank since August 2021 and previously as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer there since February 2017, Melat has developed expertise in software development and system analysis. Prior experience includes a role as a Programmer at Ethio Telecom from September 2007 to August 2010, where responsibilities included the analysis and design of a centralized Service Management System and quality of service measurements. Melat holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science & Networking from the University of Pisa and Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, completed in 2012, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & IT from Alemaya University, earned in 2007.
