Kangchan Lee has extensive experience in the information and telecommunications sectors, currently serving as the Vice Chair of WP2 for ITU-T SG13 since January 2006 and holding multiple positions including Rapporteur for Q17/13 and Q26/13 focused on cloud computing. Kangchan's roles encompass significant contributions to the development of cloud computing standards and interoperability requirements. Other notable positions include Chair of the Standard Development Working Group at the Cloud Computing Forum in Korea and Chair of WG2 at APT WTSA24, as well as leadership contributions at organizations such as W3C and various ISO committees. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D., M.A., and B.A. in Computer Engineering from Chungnam National University.
