William Mateo started their work experience in 2017 as an Instrumentation Engineering role at Petron Corporation. William then worked as a Controls and Instrumentation Technician at PanAsia Energy Holdings Inc. from May 2019 to December 2022. Currently, they are the Head of Partnerships at Webmint since December 2022.

William Mateo attended the University of Santo Tomas from 2013 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. In 2019, they obtained a certification in Instrumentation and Control Servicing NC II from TESDA: Technical Education and Skills Development Authority. Additionally, in November 2018, they received certifications as a Registered Electronics Engineer and a Registered Electronics Technician from the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission.
