Serene Lai is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in tax analysis and corporate restructuring. Currently serving as a Senior Tax Analyst at Webjet Limited since August 2023, Serene previously held the role of Senior Consultant at FTI Consulting from November 2019 to August 2023, focusing on turnaround strategies for distressed businesses across various industries. Earlier experience includes an Analyst position at Deloitte, providing accounting and tax services to private businesses, and a Student Consultant role at Berlin Partner für Wirtschaft und Technologie GmbH. Additionally, Serene has been self-employed as a Private Tutor since February 2013, specializing in mathematics subjects for secondary school students.
