Swapnil M Mane is an experienced professional with a strong background in open-source software development and community engagement. Currently serving as Vice President of Apache Community Development at The Apache Software Foundation since 2014, Mane leads initiatives aimed at enhancing the health of open-source projects and manages various community-focused activities. Additionally, Mane has played key roles in multiple Apache projects, including serving as a member of the project management committees for Apache OFBiz and Apache Roller, and founding the Apache Local Community. Mane also works as a Developer Relations Engineer at Webiny and as Founder and Content Manager for Open Source Wave, promoting open-source awareness. Previous experience includes technical consulting at HotWax Commerce and a role as a Google Student Ambassador, along with teaching mathematics part-time. Mane holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya.
