Nicholas Gard has extensive experience in web development and software engineering. Nicholas currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at Webflow since October 2019. Prior to that, they were a Senior Frontend Developer at Nike from April 2017 to October 2019, where they built Nike's React/Redux e-commerce front end and maintained their A/B testing framework. Nicholas also worked at @WalmartLabs as a Senior UI Engineer from November 2015 to April 2017, focusing on building and maintaining the React web application for Walmart's Grocery app. Before that, they worked as a Web Developer at Mainz Brady Group from November 2014 to November 2015. Nicholas also had a role as a Front End Engineer at Nike from November 2014 to November 2015, working on the consumer experience at store.nike.com. Nicholas started their career at Umpqua Bank as a Software Developer from January 2014 to November 2014, where they built an internal Ember application for banking transactions. Prior to that, they worked as a Web Developer at Catalyst IT Services from December 2011 to January 2014, where they were contracted to Nike.com. Finally, they were a Front End Developer at Nike from February 2012 to November 2013, working on the commerce experience at Nike.com and owning the front-end of the SmartCart Launch tool.
Nicholas Gard completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics at Western Oregon University from 2007 to 2010. Nicholas then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching at the same institution from 2010 to 2011.
