Jonathan Candelaria has a diverse work experience in the advertising industry. Jonathan started as a Design Intern at Digital Suggar in 2014. Jonathan then worked at Boston University as a Marketing Assistant, where they focused on digital, CRM, and social media content for BU Study Abroad. In 2014, they joined Boston University AdLab as an Art Director, eventually becoming an Associate Creative Director and overseeing multiple creative teams and projects for local clients.
In 2015, Jonathan joined Digitas North America as an Associate Art Director, gaining experience in digital advertising and working with clients such as Buick, GMC, Harley-Davidson, OnStar, and others. Jonathan then transitioned to Art Director at Digitas, leading a 360-campaign for a major automotive account and becoming GMC's newest Agency of Record.
Since 2017, Jonathan has been working at Weber Shandwick. Jonathan initially joined as an Art Director and later became a Senior Art Director. Currently, they serve as an Associate Creative Director, demonstrating their growth and expertise in the creative field.
Jonathan Candelaria's education history includes attending Boston University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Jonathan also completed an internship at the International Institute in Spain, focusing on Design & Technology, as well as Spanish Language & Culture. Prior to that, Jonathan attended Marist High School.
