Chaitali Gupta has a diverse work experience in the advertising and communications industry. Chaitali most recently worked at Weber Shandwick, starting in 2017. Chaitali held various roles at the company, including Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, and Sr. Digital Designer. Prior to that, they worked at Edelman as a Sr Designer from 2015 to 2017. Before joining Edelman, they worked at FCB Global as a Visualiser from 2013 to 2015. Chaitali also had experience as a Visualiser at MX Advertising from 2012 to 2013 and as a Jr. Visualiser at Triton Communications in 2011. Chaitali started their career as an Illustrator at Loksatta-newspaper in early 2011.

Chaitali Gupta holds a variety of educational experiences. In 1996, they attended K.C Gandhi where they studied at the Rachana Sansad college of applied arts and craft. Chaitali completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Applied Arts with a focus on Illustration from the Rachana Sansad college of applied art and craft in 2006. In 2019, Chaitali pursued a User Experience Nanodegree from Udacity.
