Erik Schellhorn has diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Erik is currently working at Weber Maschinenbau as a Strategic Purchaser. Prior to this, they completed their Master Thesis in Corporate Development at Weber Maschinenbau. Erik also worked as an intern in the Production Planning department at the same company. Before joining Weber Maschinenbau, Erik had internships in planning/costing roles at Hauke Runge – Klima Bäder Neue Energien GmbH. Erik also gained experience in the commercial department as an intern at the same company. Erik's work experience also includes a role as a Design Engineer in the Chassis department at Baltic Racing Team. Erik started their career as an intern in the Gas & Steam Power Plant at Neubrandenburger Stadtwerke GmbH.

Erik Schellhorn's education history starts with their enrollment at Sportgymnasium Neubrandenburg from 2006 to 2015. Erik obtained their German High School Diploma (Abitur) during this period. In 2015, they joined Hochschule Stralsund and pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Industrial Engineering (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen), which they completed in 2020. Following their bachelor's, Erik continued their education at Hochschule Stralsund and pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Industrial Engineering (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen) from 2020 to 2022.
