Valerie Gaerlan is an accomplished Sr. Visual Designer with extensive experience in various design roles. Currently at Clear Digital since March 2020 and Valerie Gaerlan Design since December 2016, Valerie collaborates with clients focused on social good, including ManKind Collective and Starcity. Previous experience includes serving as a Learning Experience Designer at sweetgreen, where responsibilities included managing employee training resources and developing iconography. As Lead Designer at Clear Digital from 2013 to 2019, Valerie directed numerous website launches and ensured brand consistency across multiple platforms while working with high-profile clients like Cisco and Facebook. Valerie’s early career includes graphic design positions at San Jose State University, contributing to social justice initiatives and promoting healthy living on campus. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from San Jose State University.
