Matt Kelso has a diverse work experience in various roles. Starting from 2007, they worked at SAP as an Operations Analyst, where they created VBA macros, web pages, and collaborated on a portal page editor. In 2010, they joined Automated Financial Systems, Inc. (AFS) as a Programmer/Analyst, building an analytics microservice, refactoring a legacy system, and creating an asynchronous notification service. Matt later became a Senior Programmer at AFS, working on various projects. In 2013, Matt co-founded Mechanical Monocle. Lastly, they are currently working at webCemeteries as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Architect, leading the development of SaaS products for the cemetery industry.

Matt Kelso received their Bachelor's Degree in Fine and Studio Arts from The University of the Arts, where they studied from 2003 to 2007.
