Sam Strickland is a seasoned professional in the drilling fluids and waste management industry, currently serving as Global Product Line Manager at Weatherford since April 2021. In this role, Sam supports global Geozones through business development, financial performance, and product development, maintaining high service standards. Prior to this position, Sam held several technical and managerial roles, including Global Technical Manager at Weatherford, Global Technical Services Manager at DrillChem, and Global Technical Service Engineer at Derrick Corporation. With experience in optimizing drilling operations, project management, and R&D, Sam began a career in civil engineering after earning a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, and also played as a pitcher in the Toronto Blue Jays' minor league system.
