MariaIsabelle Garcia is a dedicated professional with a strong background in community organizing and human relations. Currently serving as a Human Relations Specialist at OC Human Relations since March 2023, MariaIsabelle previously worked as a Community Organizer at The Kennedy Commission, where responsibilities included planning workshops and collaborating on community events related to affordable housing. Additionally, as a Young Religious Leader Fellow with CLERGY AND LAITY UNITED FOR ECONOMIC JUSTICE OF ORANGE COUNTY, MariaIsabelle focused on mobilizing the faith community to support equitable development and economic justice. Early experiences include roles as a Behavioral Health Technician at Autism Spectrum Therapies and a Children's and Youth Coordinator at First Christian Church of Orange. A graduate of Chapman University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, MariaIsabelle has also honed leadership skills through various roles at the university, including planning cultural events and training programs.
