Peter Nitsch is a seasoned professional in the field of design and technology, currently serving as a Senior Design Manager at Wealthsimple since October 2023, and simultaneously holding the position of Technology Director at Algonquin Motors since November 2021. Previous experience includes roles at Shopify as Senior Manager UX and UX Manager from February 2017 to May 2023, and a Principal Creative Technologist position at Huge from June 2015 to February 2017. Additionally, Peter co-founded Wattage.io as CTO and worked at Teehan+Lax as both Director of Labs and Senior Software Developer. Earlier career experiences include Software Developer roles at Mindblossom and Buzz Interactive. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Waterloo, completed in 1999.
