Nicholas Mulder is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Wealthsimple since November 2021, Nicholas previously held the role of Senior Director of Engineering. With a strong entrepreneurial background, Nicholas was the Owner and IT Department at Elora Bread Trading Co. from September 2018 to October 2023 and has also led software development efforts at Cloud DX as Head of Software Development. Nicholas's career includes significant contributions to Shopify and Shopify Plus as Senior Engineering Lead, alongside roles as Engineering Manager at Pressly and NuLayer Inc., and as Owner of Mulder Consulting. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree specializing in Software Engineering from Carleton University, obtained between 1999 and 2004.
