Martin Petkov currently serves as the Country Manager for WIRB-Copernicus Group in Bulgaria, focusing on corporate operation management, business development, and strategic expansion in the Bulgarian market since October 2019. Prior to this role, Martin worked at ICON plc as a Study Startup Specialist and Clinical Trial Associate, managing various oncology and cardiovascular studies. Previous experience includes positions at Mapi Group, German Cancer Research Center, BGI Tech Europe, University of Miami, University of Heidelberg, and Resbiomed Ltd., encompassing research, sales, and clinical trial management. Martin holds a PhD in Oncology and Cancer Biology, an MSc in Neuroscience, and a BSc in Applied Biology, along with a High School Diploma in Mathematics.
