Brenda Alton, PhD, currently serves as a National Board Member for the Solihten Institute, contributing to its mission to enhance the well-being of individuals through a holistic approach. Since January 2016, Brenda has held multiple leadership roles at UPMC, including Director of Community Relations and System Manager of Spiritual Care Services. As the Founder and CEO of BMA Resources, LLC, Brenda assists with non-profit start-ups, organizational management, and fundraising efforts. In addition to serving as President of the Holistic Hands Community Development Corporation, Brenda has past experience in academia as a Graduate Assistant at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and in public service as a candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania. Brenda's extensive experience encompasses pastoral leadership, community building, and strategic planning, supported by a robust educational background in administration, leadership, and religious studies.
