Ivan Vanchev is a seasoned Research Associate at WBI since May 2015, with responsibilities that include product development, due diligence, and portfolio construction for a significant asset base exceeding $1.5 billion across multiple strategies. Ivan focuses on optimizing quantitative equity models and collaborates with senior executives on strategic initiatives and project execution. Previous roles include Research Assistant at both the University of Oxford and Vassar College, where Ivan contributed to research efforts in economics. Ivan also held positions in sales and trading at UniCredit and completed a summer internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria. Academically, Ivan holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford, a BA in Economics, Mathematics, and Political Science from Vassar College, and completed the General Course in Economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
